Ting Su is a documentary filmmaker and sound designer from Shenzhen, China, currently pursuing a BFA in Film at NYU Tisch. With a distinctly feminine lens, her work delicately explores themes of migration, time, and queer identity. Her debut short documentary Daily Worker (2025) premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and was later screened at True/False, Melbourne International Film Festival, and Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, among others.
Her sound design and music compositions have been recognized at Cannes (American Pavilion), QFest St. Louis, and the Korean Queer Film Festival. Ting merges nuanced soundscapes with intimate scoring, bringing human details to the sonic world.
